FIREBUG is an atelier for handmade ceramics based in Sofia, Bulgaria, founded by our designer, Krastina Krasteva. Her ceramic work aims to create jewellery and decorative items such as lamps, vases, glasses, bowls, or plates. Through developing collections built around a fairytale aesthetic, her creations generate a dialogue between craftsmanship, art, and nature.Krastina, who graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, is from Bulgaria and engages in multidisciplinary activities combining contemporary art, design, and craftsmanship.

FIREBUG's collections emerge from the connection between aesthetic and fairy-tale inspiration and the functionality of everyday items. The ambition of FIREBUG atelier is to evoke emotions, raise questions, nourish dreams, and foster a renewed appreciation for the beauty that is embedded in our daily lives and our inner beauty.
